About Us
Welcome to the inaugural Hindu Youth Leadership Convention presented by the Sri Meenakshi Temple Society, Hindus of Greater Houston, and the Hindu Temple of the Woodlands. This event will take place at the Sri Meenakshi Temple on July 29th, 2023.While admission to this event is FREE, please note that registration on Eventbrite is mandatory to secure your seat.
Short tours of the temple grounds will be available during the reception for those interested.
NextGen Hindu Youth Leadership Convention
Goals & Objectives
- Bring together the NextGen Hindu Youth and Community Leaders in the Houston area and across the US to explore, reinforce and embrace our Hindu values and culture by gaining a clearer understanding of the same.
- Motivate and inspire the youth to take on leadership roles at various levels, at Hindu Temples, and in their communities at large in religious, professional, humanitarian and socially relevant fields.
- Instill a sense of ‘Community and Identity’ among our youth.
- Create a forum to listen to and interact with renowned speakers on spiritual/religious and secular topics of interest to our youth.
